Al-Has Al-Saleem. Common Sense.
In the past year, the Arab world has undergone an unprecedented revolution. Three dictators have been overthrown. Uprisings and protests have taken place in fourteen more Arab states. The Arab Spring has permanently changed the face of the Middle East. Democracy flows through the veins of protesters as they look to secure freedom from long-term oppression.
Al-Has Al-Saleem will closely follow the events of the Arab Revolutions as they progress as well as provide commentary on their impact upon the Middle East. While change has transpired, the path towards liberty is not yet complete.
“In a revolution, as in a novel, the most difficult part to invent is the end.” – Alexis de Tocqueville
